البعد البيئي مؤشر مهم في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة بالجزائر: قراءة في مؤشرات أهداف التنمية المستدامة ذات الصلة المباشرة بالبيئة

الملخص

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز أهمية البعد البيئي كأحد الأبعاد الأساسية لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة، وكذا معرفة وتحليل أهم مؤشرات البعد البيئي ذات الصلة المباشرة بتحقيق التنمية المستدامة في الجزائر، حيث تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في الدراسة باعتباره الأنسب للإجابة عن إشكاليتها التي تتمحور حول معرفة واقع الجزائر ضمن مؤشرات البعد البيئي للتنمية المستدامة لسنة 2022 والتحديات التي تواجهها في سبيل تحقيق استدامة بيئية. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن اتجاه المؤشرات 6 و7 و15 للتنمية المستدامة في الجزائر شهدت زيادة معتدلة في الاتجاه العام، إلا أنها مازالت هناك تحديات ملموسة تخص هذه المؤشرات، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى أن اتجاه المؤشرين 11 و12 للتنمية المستدامة في الجزائر شهدا تناقصا في الاتجاه العام وكانا باللون الأحمر الداكن، أي أنه مازال هناك تحديات كبيرة تواجه الجزائر لتحقيق هذين الهدفين، بينما اتجاه المؤشرين 13 و14 شهدا ثباتا في الاتجاه العام وكانا باللون الأحمر، أي أنه مازال هناك تحديات ملموسة تواجه الجزائر لتحقيق هذين الهدفين أيضا؛ وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة توفير الدعم التقني وبناء القدرات لتحسين الأطر الإحصائية وتحسين مصادر البيانات والبنية الأساسية الحديثة من أجل ضبط وحساب المؤشرات المتعلقة البعد البيئي في الجزائر.

The Environmental Dimension as an Important Indicator in Achieving Sustainable Development in Algeria: An Analysis of the Sustainable Development Goals Directly Related to the Environment

Abstract

This study aimed to highlight the importance of the environmental dimension as one of the fundamental pillars for achieving sustainable development, as well as to identify and analyze the most important environmental dimension indicators that are directly related to achieving sustainable development in Algeria. The descriptive-analytical approach was adopted, as it is the most appropriate method to address the study problem, which focuses on examining Algeria’s position within the environmental dimension indicators of sustainable development for the year 2022 and the challenges it faces in achieving environmental sustainability. The findings revealed that the trends of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 6, 7, and 15 in Algeria experienced a moderate increase in their overall direction; however, tangible challenges remain with regard to these indicators. The study also found that the trends of SDGs 11 and 12 declined and were classified in dark red, indicating that Algeria continues to face significant challenges in achieving these goals. Meanwhile, the trends of SDGs 13 and 14 remained stable and were classified in red, reflecting the persistence of tangible challenges in achieving these goals as well. The study recommends providing technical support and capacity building to improve statistical frameworks, enhance data sources, and develop modern infrastructure in order to accurately measure and compute indicators related to the environmental dimension in Algeria.
