مسجد العسقلاني دراسة: ((تاريخية- أثرية- معمارية))

الملخص

    يعتبر هذا المسجد أحد أهم المعالم الإسلامية الباقية في مدينة عدن، حيث يحتل هذا المسجد مكانه عظيمة في نفوس أبناء اليمن عامة وأبناء عدن خاصة، وذلك لارتباط إسمه بإسم عالمين جليلين من علماء الإسلام وهما: الإمام إبن حجر العسقلاني، والشيخ العلامة محمد سالم البيحاني، ولذلك اختاره الباحث ليكون موضوعًا لبحثه، الذي يعد أول بحث يتحدث عن هذا المسجد من الناحيتين الأثرية والمعمارية.

وقد بدأ البحث بنبذة مؤجزة من تاريخ مدينة عدن، ثم تناول هذا البحث دراسة الموقع وتاريخ الإنشاء وأسباب التسمية وترجمة العسقلاني والبيحاني، وحالة الأثر والوظائف التي قام بها المسجد، ثم تطرق البحث إلى تخطيط المسجد ووصفه من الخارج والداخل وتحليل عناصره المعمارية والزخرفية، ويهدف البحث إلى تسليط الضوء على أهمية هذا المسجد، وإبراز أهميته، وتوثيقه تاريخياً واثرياً .

Abstract

Al Asqalani mosque is considered one of the most important Islamic landmarks remaining in the city of Aden. This mosque has a great place in the hearts of the people of Yemen in general and the people of Aden in particular because its name is associated with the name of two great scholars of Islam, namely: Imam Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani, and Sheikh Mohammad Salem Al-Bayhani. Therefore, the researcher selected it to be the topic of his research, which is the first research that talks about this mosque in terms of archeology and architecture.

The research has begun with a brief summary of the history of Aden. Then it dealt with the study of the location, the date of construction, the reasons for naming, the biographies of Al-Asqalani and Al-Bayhani, and the impact and functions carried out by the mosque. After that, the research discussed the design of the mosque and its description from the interior and exterior. The analysis of its architectural and decorative elements were also displayed. The research aims to shed light on the significance of this mosque, highlight its importance and document it historically and archaeologically.
